Pro Life

The Catholic Church’s pro-life teaching is based on the belief that every human life is a gift from God, possessing inherent dignity from conception to natural death. The Catechism states that human life must be absolutely respected and protected from conception, and that the right to life of the innocent cannot be taken away. Thus, the Church rejects abortion and euthanasia as serious moral evils and urges Catholics to defend life where human dignity is at risk.
